I am scheduled for a dental on May 29.
Once I am healed from the dental, I will be ready to go to my
forever home.

She had her dental and only has five
teeth remaining. Her foster mom grinds up her dry kibble in a coffee
grinder and mix with a little baby food and water to make into
consistency she likes and it works great! She is definitely feeling
better and acting like a totally new dog! She played with her foster
family for the first time this past week and was running and jumping
like a much younger dog! We are going to start taking her on short
walks (now that she feels better). She is down to 27 pounds. She has
been exposed to dogs outside the foster family and does fine. Lacey
seems to like everyone she meets!

I love playing fetch and lazing around
on the couch or sleeping in my crate. I know a few commands, like
sit, and I am learning to shake paws. Did I mention that I love to
have my belly rubbed. I only have a few teeth left, so my foster
family grinds up my food in a coffee grinder and mixes it with baby
food. Boy, is it tasty!
I really like to spend time outside watching the action from the
shade under the hammock in my backyard. I protect my yard from any
strangers by barking at them (thanks goodness they don’t know that
my bark is worse than my bite).
I have 2 kitty cats, 1 bunny rabbit and another sheltie to play with
in my foster home. I also have 2 kids to keep me busy and walk me
daily.
I seem to like everyone I meet, especially if they have a
comfortable lap for me to lay my head on.
