Say hello to Archie, a resilient 9-year-old neutered male who is bravely working on overcoming his fear of people. Despite his past, Archie shows a strong desire to be loved on and is truly a gem waiting to shine.

Archie enjoys watching other dogs play and has a heart full of good energy just waiting to be shared. Give Archie the chance to show you the love he has to offer.

The lady here takes me for a walk because she says I need to lose a little weight. I like to walk with her and she says I am very good as long as I am on her right hand side.

I really like my crate and I go in there for meals, at night and when the lady goes to work. I am happy in my crate. The people I am with are watching my diet and hope to continue to help me lose weight. They give me fruits and vegetables….I like beans (sometimes), the lady sneaks blueberries in my bowl and I am getting more used to them and eat a few of them. I do not like the bananas though. I do get a little anxious from time to time and will pace around when I am not sure what they want me to do. I know I will be better when I have a forever home and people of my own.

Even though they think that I am about 9 years old the lady here says I run and play like a 6-8 year old. At the end of the day I like to settle down at night with all the other shelties until bedtime.
